Help to Rajasthan’s drought affected
Over the last few years, drought has become a viciously calamitous cycle for Rajasthan. Failing crops compel millions of people to cross over to extreme poverty and starvation. This, in turn, triggered a wave of migration from the worst affected districts like Churu, Taranagar, Barmer, Jaisalmer etc. Millions of heads of cattle perished since their owners, reduced to penury could not feed them.
When Guruji heard of this, a massive drought relief intervention was planned. And the followers responded to this call with boundless enthusiasm. Under such demanding situations, Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa (Haryana) & its devotees provided them 2700 trucks of fodder for the cattle during 2000 to 2003. Needless to say, Saints are concerned with the well being of all God’s creations.
